Toasted Ham and Tomato Bruchettes

Makes 20 bruchettes


1 loaf French bread, sliced thin
2 tbsp olive oil
6 slices Prime Fresh Honey Ham
6 oz soft spreadable cheese
½ pint fresh colorful cherry tomatoes
Freshly Ground Pepper
Fresh Parsley, minced

How To Make

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Drizzle 1 tablespoon of olive oil over a baking sheet. Arrange the bread slices in a single layer on the sheet. Brush the remaining oil over each.
Toast, flipping once, until golden on both sides.
Remove from oven, sprinkle with salt and set aside
Meanwhile, preheat a skillet over medium-high heat.
Place the ham in the heated skillet and toast, flipping once. Carefully remove from skillet and roughly chop.
Cut the cherry tomatoes into quarters.
Spread the cheese on the toasted bread. Top with the chopped toasted ham and cherry tomatoes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Garnish with freshly minced parsley.
